Are you "Anti-Fragile"?

What is antifragility? Can your health be less vulnerable and more resilient?

There is a term emerging on social media called "Antifragile". You may start to see it on healthy living sites and used by "influencers" in the health industry.

Antifragility was originally discussed in terms of psychology and mental health. Scholar Nassim Nicholas Taleb wrote a book titled Antifragile: Things that gain from disorder in 2012.

Taleb explains that being Antifragile is more than just being resilient. The idea is to grow stronger from stress and challenge, which is better than just bouncing back.

What about our physical health? Can your body be less fragile? The answer is YES! and Vitamin D to the Rescue and Magnesium to the Rescue can help:

  1. IMMUNE SYSTEM Vitamin D plays a crucial role in healthy immune system function. When it comes to immune system, you want balance. If your immune system is weak or underactive, you might get every cold and flu that comes along. On the other hand, if your immune system is overactive or hypersensitive, you might develop allergies or sensitivities. An overactive immune system can turn an everyday infection into a life-threatening storm of inflammation. Vitamin D acts as an immune system modulator that helps it function well. Your immune system learns from every pathogen that it encounters. You literally get stronger every time your immune system meets a new challenge and overcomes it. Vitamin D supporting your immune system health makes you antifragile.

  2. SLEEP Getting restful sleep may be one of the simplest steps toward having a body that is not just resilient, but antifragile. Sleep is when your body has a chance to catch up and recover from all the stress that you put it under during the day. A well rested body will handle stress better, make better decisions and be stronger. Magnesium is a mineral that promotes relaxation in the body, leading to better sleep and less pain. Surveys show that roughly 50% of the population is deficient in Magnesium. Magnesium to the Rescue is a great choice for aiding your body to sleep better, rest deeper, have less pain and be antifragile.

  3. CARDIOVASCULAR HEALTH Your blood vessels are what deliver precious life-giving blood to your muscles and tissues. The blood vessels are constantly adapting to stresses and changes and they need to be healthy so that your body can be more resilient and thrive through challenges. Vitamin K2 plays a vital role in preventing calcium from forming plaque deposits in your arteries. Atherosclerosis is the build up of plaque and hardening of the arteries that can lead to stroke and heart disease. Vitamin K2 is found in Vitamin D to the Rescue and acts as a shuttle to move calcium from your blood to your bones, where it should be. Vitamin K2 helps you be antifragile.

It is worth the effort to be more antifragile, and Health to the Rescue can help.
